This is the first cut of our website and is currently working with version 6.x MS Internet Explorer and partially working with version 7.1 of Netscape. I don’t know if it works with earlier versions of either browser. If not then upgrade your browser. I hope to have the Netscape version working correctly before I get any grayer. If you have a dialup connection then the loading can be slow as there are a lot of thumbnail pictures on some pages. This is my first attempt at building a web site so be kind. Sunday March 17, Vintage Trials

It was a perfect day for a Vintage Trial, in Sherman Texas, with a mostly overcast sky, no rain and the sound of Vintage MX and Dirt Track in the background.

A super effort was made by Frank Chenoweth to get the sections set up after a family emergency kept me from assisting. Frank did get some late help from Kim McCandless which was greatly appreciated by all.

We had 10 challenging sections made up mostly of trees, hills and gullys with a rock or two thrown in. Even though the turnout was smaller than anticipated the riding was great and a good time was had by all participants.

This is how the scoring went:

Expert: - 1st place with a score of 63 - Frank Chenoweth Intermediate: - 1st place with a score of 5 - James Wipff Novice: - 1st place with a score of 4 - Bill Edgington; - 2nd place with a score of 6 - Kim McCandless; - 3rd place with a score of 9 - Russ Corum.

A big thanks to David Henry for inviting us to have the Trial on his facility called North Forty Cycle Park. Also another big thanks to Bobby Lucas, Skip Miller and the rest of the MX guys for being so much help and support for to us for our event.
