Thanks so much for the honor of "sportsman of the year".

The folks who need recognition, though, are the officers and volunteers
who make vintage racing possible. These individuals give freely of their
time and efforts, often without compensation of any kind.

Next time you see one of these heroes at the track, take a moment to
thank them and ask if there is something you can do to make the day run
smoother. Usually, just by not complaining, you can help immensely.

Anyway, I'd like to thank the folks who helped me get started, and keep
me going: Lawrence Lucia, who sold me the first CZ, Diamond Don Rainey,
who makes this stuff so much fun, Skip Miller, Bob Lucas, and Joe Busby
who made me feel so welcome!
